Contractor's dream! This fixer-upper is perfectly habitable as-is -- there's new carpet, new paint, new hardwood flooring, metal roof, new kitchen appliances -- but there's still plenty to improve. The basement: No, there wasn't a flood. Here's the deal: the owner had paneled the walls with actual wooden logs. I think he was going for a cabin look; think Abraham Lincoln's early years.
